The Humanities Faculty comprises Geography and History.
Within lessons students are challenged to develop their knowledge and understanding of the world they live in and how things have come to be as they are, as well as applying learning to planning for the future. Key skills developed in both subjects include enquiry, written communication, analysis and debate.
A variety of common homework tasks and regular formal assessments are used to support pupils’ progress at both Key Stages 3 and 4.
KS3 History Assessment (2021 onwards)
Geography and History are both popular GCSE options.
