Y10 Study skills evening

Dear Parents/Carers

We would like to invite you and your Yr10 child to a revision/study skills evening on Thursday 11 January 2018 from 6pm until 7pm. The evening is designed to support students for the upcoming Y10 exams (Monday 29 Jan 1 – Friday 9 Feb).

The revision/study skills evening will cover:

• Effective revision strategies
• Revision scheduling and time management
• How you as parents can actively support your child’s revision time.

So that we can plan appropriately, have manageable groups and effectively cover the areas of concern it is essential that you return the reply slip at the bottom of this letter by Tuesday 9th January. The session will start in the main auditorium led by Senior Staff, after which you will have approximately 40 minutes in a classroom working with your son/daughter and a teaching colleague.

If you are attending could you please ensure that your son/daughter brings with them a pen, a revision guide and their planner.
