Parent letter – Australia, Brazil and Sweden hosts

Dear parents/carers,

With one month to go before we host our partners from Australia, Brazil and Sweden I’s like to confirm some of the details.

The programme will run from Sunday 25 March to Sunday 1 April. We will be based in York for the first 4 days “indoor camping” at Vale of York school followed by a trip down to Kingswood activity centre near Doncaster for the final 3 days. The plan is to meet at Vale of York at 6 pm on 25 March to meet our visitors as they arrive. The full programme of activities is attached and we will return to Vale of York at approximately 12 pm on Sunday 1 April.

Kit list:

• General clothes for the week
• Sports gear
• Suitable clothes for Kingswood including a jacket, hat and gloves
• Sleeping bag and pillow
• Towel and wash bag
• snacks
• Small amount of pocket money
