Training Walk

Dear Parents,

I would like to invite your son/daughter to attend an afterschool Duke of Edinburgh training walk on Wednesday 20th June from 3.20pm – 6.30pm.

This walk will be accompanied by a member of staff with the aim of developing navigational skills and ensuring students are confident that they can complete the assessed expedition.

Students will need to bring suitable clothing and footwear (including waterproofs if rain is forecasted) to change into after school along with a daysack containing a water bottle or two if hot weather predicted, sun cream, snacks and personal first aid items.
