Macbeth follow up

Dear Parents/Carers

Your son/daughter has successfully reserved a place on the Macbeth theatre trip on July 18th. May I take this opportunity to make you aware of the following:

Payment

The one‐off payment of £15 can now be made via Parent Pay. Please could we ask that this is made by Wednesday 11th July. If there are any difficulties with making this payment, please do not hesitate to contact me via email as we may be able to help.

Lunchtime arrangements

The theatre company have sent through revised information about the production, which means we need to change our arrangements slightly. The play will now have a 20 minute interval at around lunchtime, during which students may eat a packed lunch. This means that we will not be allowing them into the city centre by themselves as part of the trip. There are some food stalls in the theatre village, but queues may be long so we would advise students to bring their own food and drink.

After the production

We will not be dismissing any students early from the city centre. They will all come back on the coach to school in time for the end of the day.

If any of these changed arrangements cause any problems or questions, please get in touch via email. Finally, though we cannot predict what the weather will be like on the day, in light of the recent heatwave, please make sure that students have hats, suncream and plenty of water to drink if it is hot, and waterproofs in case it rains.
