Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools

The framework has been updated since we were last inspected. The new framework examines as to whether through its vision and practice, the school is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish. Key questions include;

IQ1: How does the school’s theologically rooted Christian vision enable pupils and adults to flourish

IQ2: How does the curriculum reflect the school’s theologically rooted Christian vision?

IQ3: How is collective worship enabling pupils and adults to flourish spiritually?

IQ4: How does the school’s theologically rooted Christian vision create a culture in which pupils and adults are treated well?

IQ5: How does the school’s theologically rooted Christian vision create an active culture of justice and responsibility?

IQ6: Is the religious education curriculum effective (with reference to the expectations set out in the Church of England’s Statement of Entitlement for Religious Education).

IQ7: What is the quality of religious education in voluntary aided and former voluntary aided schools, and in former voluntary controlled schools in which denominational religious education is taught?

Ofsted Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

Parents and carers can give their views of our school at any time using an online questionnaire called Parent View – you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.

When we are notified of our next Ofsted inspection, parents and carers will be specifically invited to give their views about the school to inspectors using the Parent View online facility. Please make sure we have your most up-to-date contact details.

To complete the short questionnaire, you will need to register with an email address and a password on the Parent View website. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to complete. Subjects such as behaviour management, the quality of teaching, level of homework and bullying are all covered.

Your views are important in helping inspectors make a decision about our school, and to help us know what is going well and what could be improved.

If you do not have a computer or an email address or if you would like help to use Parent View, please come into school and ask at reception.

All information provided to Ofsted via Parent View is anonymised and published in a summary report.
