Year 8 Options

Dear Parent/Carer

Your son / daughter has an exciting time coming up where they will get to choose the subjects they will study at GCSE. Whilst the decision is an important one and can affect a young person’s future, it is important to keep the process positive and to make sure our young people feel confident about their choices, not overwhelmed.

The key members of staff at Manor are Mr Nariani who is our Vice Principal in charge of our curriculum, Mrs Lowman who is in charge of options and Mrs Stephens who is the Year 8 leader. If you have any question over the next few months which are not answered through our letters or on the website, please contact Mrs Lowman in the first instance on r.lowman@mce.hslt.academy with the word ‘Options’ and your child’s name in the subject line.
