Welcome back! I hope you all had a fun packed and enjoyable summer!!
Not to put a dampener on thing but now is when the hard work begins………………for lots of different reason and I very much see Year 10 as a year of getting into good habits!!
You have all had a chance to settle into your GCSE option subject and many of you are starting to think about and shape the future. Sometimes those things don’t always go as planned so don’t be afraid to take a risk, don’t worry if things don’t happen first time, if you remain committed and dedicated to what you want to achieve you will get there in time.
“Success if not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts” – Winston Churchill
It doesn’t have to be all work/work/work but finding the work/life balance is huge part of this year (it will stand you in good stead) – ensure that you make time for each other, support one another and continue to be involved in things that make you happy and put a smile on your face.
There were so many things to celebrate last year and I hope this year is no different. I encourage you to try something new this year, whether that is a new club, a new way of doing things or even as small as starting each year with a different/positive mind set.
We are all in this together, there is so much to look forward to, and I hope you are all as positive and excited about this year as I am.
Have a great year!!!

Well done to these four. They were really kind to a younger girl they didn’t know as she waited in her wheelchair with her dad at the bus stop. Being kind is the best attribute of all. Well done boys, really proud of you 👏👏👏👍
Congratulations to this week’s Principal’s Award Winners. They are all stars 🌟
