Each year we hold an Open Evening to give prospective Manor students and their families the opportunity to visit the school, meet staff and students and take the first steps to joining our wonderful academy.
We are really looking forward to showing Year 6 children and their parents around the school. Due to the COVID pandemic we have some protocols in place to keep people safe and to reduce the risk of spreading infection.
If you intend to join us for the evening, we are asking people to follow the following guidelines:
There will be two entry points to school. When you arrive you will be directed to either reception or the Hive entrance. The car park is very full on the evening and so we ask parents to park off site and walk into the school grounds.
Mr Barber, Principal, will be speaking at three different points during the evening and we are asking that students of specific schools attend at their allocated slot only.
For students of Poppleton Ousebank, Carr Junior and Poppleton Road, we ask that you attend between 6pm and 7pm only. The talk for you will be at 6.30pm or 7pm.
For students of all other schools, we ask that you attend between 7pm and 8pm. The talks for you will be at either 7pm or 7.30pm.
If you are displaying COVID symptoms you must not attend. All materials relating to admissions will be available on our website for you to view at your own convenience.
If you have any accessibility requirements for the walking route or for parking, or any questions relating to the evening, please get in touch at email@example.com

Well done to these four. They were really kind to a younger girl they didn’t know as she waited in her wheelchair with her dad at the bus stop. Being kind is the best attribute of all. Well done boys, really proud of you 👏👏👏👍
Congratulations to this week’s Principal’s Award Winners. They are all stars 🌟
